Persian Dragonscale Pet Collars

Persian Dragonscale is another one of the hybrid weaves. In this case, a "strip" of European Four-In-One is made to roughly 1 1/2 the desired finished length. At that point one weaves in Half-Persian up and down both sides of the strip. The Half-Persian sides are then gathered together and joined with European Four-In-One stitching right up the middle. This weave offers opportunities for striping that can really enhance the dragonscale effect, as is shown in the red and black collar above.
Isn't it interesting how different the two collars look although they are the same weave? The pink collar shown is more appropriate in scale for smaller animals.
These are available in several different colors and patterns, as well as the following materials in ascending weight order - anodized aluminum, bright aluminum, nickel silver, enameled copper, plain copper, even sterling silver, though that gets quite expensive.
Below are sample metals in their natural colors. They might not be exactly the color you see on your monitor, not only because of differences in browser settings but also because the anodyzed metals can vary from batch to batch, like paint.
And these are anodyzed colors. Enameled copper colors are very similar.

These are the glow-in-the-dark neoprene rings. Unfortunately, they only come in a few sizes - but they'll work for some sizes of this weave. Neoprene lends flexibility and lightens the collar or leash.
