Captive Inverted RoundMaille in Anodized Aluminum

Product Description

Captive RoundMaille is what we call a hybrid weave, one in which two or more families of weaves are combined. In this example, the captive nature of the weave identifies it as a member of the "captive/orbital" family and the roundmaille portion derives directly from the ancient family of European Maille.
This collar is shown in bright pink and black anodized aluminum. Each collar is filled with a different stone. The pink collar is filled with pearls and the black collar with carnelian. Many other types of stones are available, including rose quartz, amethyst, moss agate, lapis (expensive), crystal quartz, tourmilinated quartz, citrine, fluorite, amber...
Below are sample metals in their natural colors. They might not be exactly the color you see on your monitor, not only because of differences in browser settings but also because the anodyzed metals can vary from batch to batch, like paint.

And these are anodyzed colors. Enameled copper colors are very similar.

Of course, you'll have to measure your animal's current (well-fitting) collar, closed, so we can complete your fitted collar.
These are the glow-in-the-dark neoprene rings. Unfortunately, they only come in a few sizes - but they'll work for this weave. Neoprene lends flexibility and lightens the collar or leash.
